Swabian Saying We’ve Always Done It – Raccoon

• The Swabian dialect saying Des hemmer scho emmer so gmacht (We’ve always done it this way) from southwest Germany, with a busy raccoon building a small house with its shovel, the tried-and-true way.
• A humorous gift for Swabians, tradition lovers, craftspeople, coworkers, expats from Baden-Württemberg and families with roots there. Great for a birthday, retirement, a topping-out party or the office.

New methods? Not needed when the old one has worked for generations. This raccoon builds its little house exactly the way grandpa did: shovel in paw, sleeves up and off it goes. No frills, no experiments, just solid craftsmanship with Swabian thoroughness. A charming homeland design for everyone who values what works, and who has heard this sentence in every meeting at least once.
